This is the dramatic moment a tree was uprooted by Typhoon Usagi and came crashing down in a street in southern Vietnam on Sunday.

According to the filmer, Mr Khoa, the tree had stood in front of his shop in the port city of Vung Tau for many years.

He confirmed that the tree did not hit his shop or any other building when it came down and no-one was injured in the incident.

Typhoon Usagi is forecast to continue to track westward into southern Vietnam, eventually turning northwest into Cambodia by Monday.

It will unload heavy rainfall, threatening flooding mudslides and local wind damage.

According to the filmer, Mr. Khoa said that this tree has been in front of his shop for many years. The big storm made it collapse in front of the shop. The storm also caused many other trees on the street to collapse.
He said that luckily the big tree did not collapse on his shop and no one on the street.
Typhoon Usagi has attacked many cities and areas in southern Vietnam. Typhoons caused heavy winds, floods, heavy rain in a large area.
Hundreds of houses were destroyed, more than 500,000 people were evacuated to safety.
