Typhoon Usagi battered southern Vietnam yesterday (November 25), causing severe flooding and leaving at least one dead.

Footage captured on Sunday shows a torrent of flood water gushing down a residential street in Nha Trang.

According to the filmer, this has been the worst flooding he has ever seen in the area.

‘’The flash flood washed away more than 10 houses in the area, a bridge was destroyed and the area completely isolated,’’ writes the filmer.

The typhoon damaged in total 51 houses and 46 boats, inundated 718 hectares of rice and 380 hectares of other crops in Vietnam’s southern region, local media reported.

According to the filmer, This is the first time this area has been flooded with flash floods. The torrential rains that created the scary flood. People try to find high houses to avoid flood waters. The motorbikes are tethered to avoid being swept away. It has washed away more than 10 houses in the area. A bridge was destroyed and the area completely isolated.
There were eleven people died and two others were injured in the flood caused by the typhoon. People are searching for victims and missing persons.
