A man in Thessaloniki, northern Greece caught a would-be pickpocket red-handed trying to steal his phone and confronted the thief yesterday (November 27).

Filming the incident on bodycam, one can see the thief sneak the man's phone but immediately get caught and awkwardly attempt to apologise, before struggling free and fleeing at the suggestion of police being called.

The culprit, when asked by the angry man where he comes from, answered: "Philistine, Philistine." It is unclear however what he was referring to when making this claim.
