A dramatic video has emerged of a passenger plane performing a difficult landing at Leeds Bradford International Airport on Tuesday during extreme winds caused by Hurricane Gonzalo.

The video shows Flybe flight BE731 battling against 43 mile per hour winds as it makes a turbulent descent onto the runway.

The plane can be seen swaying from side to side while the pilot struggles to keep the plane level.
