Snow geese and air canada aircraft
I'm watching the snowgeese on the marsh and can also see the aircraft including an Air Canada plane on the runway at YVR International Airport in Richmond BC Canada on Tuesday 27 November 2018. The airport has a wildlife control team that uses raptors, dogs sand fireworks to keep the snowgeese off the runway - they settle here in the marsh but the Wildlife team keeps a close eye on the flocks to make sure they don't jeopardize safety of the incoming and leaving planes! Quite a job - but they're very good at it! I love watching wildlife and nature here - especially in winter when all the migratory birds visit our shores - but I'm glad I don't have the job of Wildlife Control at YVR!!
