Venezuelan migrants in Bogota, Colombia, are often seen begging in the streets and public transport in an attempt to survive with barely any income.

Footage captured on November 29 shows migrants begging on buses across the capital city.

Passengers can be seen giving money to them.

The political and economic crisis in Venezuela has forced thousands to flee the country hoping to find a better life abroad.

In 2017, Colombia received around 550.000 people from Venezuela and this number could double by the end of this year, according to official statistics.
