These baby snails are all you’ll need to see today
These two baby snails are so incredibly cute. They are such close replicas of their parent snails but so much smaller.
Shown next to the teaspoon and pebble on the table to provide some scale, from a distance the snails appear to be small bits of dirt.
When the camera comes in close the incredible detail of these snails can be seen, in fact they look a little like two sailing boats racing on the ocean.
I found these snails on the pebble while I was doing some gardening and brought them inside to show my children.
My eldest son (19) later admitted that he use to think that slugs were just snails out looking for a shell to live in. I asked him that if this indeed was the case, where did he think the shells came from and he had no idea!
