The Elephant here, that has become a synonym of terror for sometimes, damaged the vehicle unleashing its anger before going inside the forest. No one was injured during the attack.

The incident happened on 03 November when a group of teachers going in a car from Ramnagar-Bubakhal National Highway near Mohand area spotted an elephant suddenly appearing in the middle of the road. This forced them to stop and wait till the wild beast passes through.

For once elephant looked like sneaking into the forest and the teachers tried to move ahead but they were taken aback as the elephant suddenly changed its track and came raging towards them.

Panicked at tusker's rush towards car, occupants left the vehicle and ran for their lives. As soon as they left the car, the animal started ramming its tusks on it and pushed the vehicle away from road.

After some time, the enraged tusker overturned the car and tried to crush it.

Meanwhile, on receiving information about the incident, foresters reached the spot and fired several air shots to chase away the animal after which the latter ran towards the forest area.
