Bomb disposal unit called to central London street after 'suspicious package' found
Police have been called to Southwark Street in central London after a suspicious package has been found in the Holiday Inn hotel.
Sniffer dogs and "seven to eight' police vehicles responded to the call, including armed police.
The fire alarm was pulled in the hotel and the filmer initially thought it was a "hostage situation".
The public has been warned to stay indoors while the scene is investigated further.
Some reports have since claimed it was a potential false alarm.
The filmer commented: "[There were] loads of police, some armed. Sniffer dogs. I was in Holiday Inn lobby when police stormed the building."
