This young girl was really not getting into the party spirit - she was seen sitting emotionless on a pirate ship fairground ride.

Another person on the ride noticed the youngster looking glum on the ride in Malabon City, the Philippines on December 2.

While everyone else on the ride was shouting and screaming, the girl looked deeply troubled, as seen in the footage from the carnival event.

Onlooker Lean Cruda said: ''I was visiting the fair with my boyfriend. We noticed the girl and it was so strange, very surreal. It looked like she would rather be anywhere else but there.

''The video of it is quite funny, as sometimes we all feel like that when everybody else is having a good time and we don't feel like joining.''
