A large monitor lizard is caught on the pavement after scaring residents in Samut Prakan, Thailand, on October 15, 2018. The 1.5 metre long reptile was charging down the street when emergency services were called to snare it. They used a lasso to stop it from moving before tying up its feet and legs. It was then carried away to a nearby canal and released from a bridge, before scampering away into the undergrowth.
