Everyone sings in the shower, but few do so with as much zeal and gusto as this guy does.

In this video filmed in Memphis, Tennessee on November 28, a resounding voice from inside a shower cubicle can be heard belting out the lyrics to The Star Spangled Banner.

The song begins quite regularly, but as he goes on, he starts varying his tone of voice, launching into unexpected falsettos and them immediately jumping to a low octave. He throws in some vibrato and scooping throughout, resulting in a hilariously dramatic rendition of the traditional anthem.

His wife, Kellie Cummings, heard him from the other room and decided to record the video secretly.

"I was so glad I got the entire thing on video without him noticing," Cummings said. He had no idea until he got out and I played the video back for him.
