A passenger on a bus was forced to move seats after spotting a live mouse scurrying around inside the light panel.

Simone Blanning was left feeling "disgusted" after her boyfriend pointed out the rodent, whose feet and tail were clearly visible through its translucent plastic prison. Pregnant Simone, 21, moved seats as she has a phobia of mice.

But she claims that when she reported it to the bus driver, he simply replied: "Not to worry, it can stay where it is."

Simone, from Bristol, captured footage of the trapped mouse on Tuesday (December 11), on the number 76 First Bus service, which was on its way into the city centre.
