A man trying to push into a queue for a limited edition Nike trainer in China was beaten up by other fans, who had been waiting in line for several hours in the rain.

The shocking video, captured in Changsha City in southern Hunan Province on December 9, shows a group of angry men punching and kicking a man in front of a Nike store.

According to reports, Nike Air Jordan Rookie of the Year trainers were going on sale at a discount price. So more than 500 fans went to wait outside the store in the early morning despite the rain.

However, a man with a hat stood right next to the door to try to squeeze in the queue. After he was asked to leave, he said: “Yeah I am jumping the queue, so what are you going to do about it?”

The irritated crowds answered by beating him up.
