The story is that we wanted to come up with a creative way to surprise our 2 kids Jaxon (7) and Kylie (5) with their new puppy. We found Giant (puppy's name) online and he came from a breeder in Nebraska. We actually had him flown in and my wife picked him up at baggage claim in Minneapolis. Our older, much larger dog Dudley is 8, and we know that he may not be around much longer so we thought it was a good time to add Giant to the family. Dudley has been a great dog and we love the Bernese Mountain Dog breed.

We thought it would be a cute idea to surprise the kids this way and it was a total shock to them as we never even talked about getting a new puppy with the kids. The shock in their faces when I lifted Giant up, will always be a memory I won't forget. Needless to say they are still on cloud 9.
