Monitor lizard rescued from railings in Thailand
A hapless monitor lizard is rescued after getting stuck between railings in Nonthaburi, Thailand, on October 9, 2018.
The lizard was climbing up the side of the three-storey house when it tried to squeeze through the iron bars to get on the roof. But the monitor's adventurous climb was cut short by its own chubby belly, which was too big to get through the gap in the railings. Radio Centre 191 Nonthaburi received an emergency call and staff were dispatched the free the lizard, which was carried down to the garden and released back into the wild.
