A 45-year-old farmer identified by his nickname Nagaraju had a narrow escape after he got trapped under an inverted tractor which he was driving on his agricultural field in the Salem district of Tamil Nadu in southern India.
Other farmers who were working in the adjacent field came to his rescue soon after seeing him trapped beneath the overturned tractor.
The group of men first tried to lift the heavy vehicle in order to let the man escape the grip, but soon realized the weight of the vehicle was far more than they could afford to lift.
They immediately arranged for a JCB earth excavator to help the farmer out of the vehicle. The excavator arrived within fifteen minutes after which the man was rescued out.
