A mother from Padang, western Indonesia, and her three children pay for the children's education by going out and collecting used goods together.

Gustinawati has two kids still in elementary school and one older child, and waits every day to collect them before they all head out to scavenge for used goods and recyclables to sell. They do this to both pay for their cost of living and cover the younger children's tuition.

Gustinawati says she is trying to improve the quality of education of her two children, so that in the future they will improve their prospects.

Together they help push her rickshaw and help her look around for and collect any used goods from people in her neighbourhood. This video was filmed on December 6.
