A Scottish ski resort now has a "nose worth a million radio transceivers" as they welcome the UK's first avalanche rescue dog.

The Glenshee Ski Centre in the Cairngorms National Park has now adopted Bodie the border collie-springer cross.

The ski centre's manager Kate Hunter took her on when she was just a few weeks old and has accompanied her to work nearly every day.

Footage from last week (December 14) shows Bodie demonstrating her skills as her sense of smell will help search for potential victims of avalanches.
