Travellers mob Gatwick service desk only to be told all flights are cancelled
Flights have been grounded at Gatwick airport since late Wednesday evening (December 19), due to drones in the skies overhead, while waiting passengers were informed of further cancellations.
The service desk at the airport can be seen in this video being mobbed by impatient travellers awaiting news of their flights.
Flights have been grounded since around 9:00pm Wednesday evening, with only a brief resumption around 3:00am Thursday morning. However no flights have taken off since and more delays are expected at great cost and inconvenience to all.
This comes at a busy time as people are beginning to travel to many different destinations for the Christmas holidays.
