We spent Christmas week in Hawaii at the Hilton Hawaiian Village, Waikiki Beach. The onshore trade winds were strong keeping the drone grounded most of the time. When we did get to fly off the beach head next to the hotel we found that every time we flew near the four buildings we lost our signals, both control and video and had to make a fast return to the beach area. Not sure how they jammed the signal but we were warned by the hotel staff that there was no drone flying on the “grounds”. Guess they meant it. We got permission to fly off the parasail boat but the winds were too high and the sea to rough. We did get about 45 minutes of drone video but did not produce it because most of it was redundant.
