Brave man harvests honey from beehive without any protection
This is the astonishing moment a brave man harvests honey with bare hands and without any protection.
Traditionally, honey is harvested after smoking out the bees from the hive. Professional beekeepers use head-to-toe protection gear to collect honey.
But Sushil Barua, 42, from a village near Kokrajhar in Assam, does neither. He collects honey with bare hands without wearing any protection as he has developed immunity to bee stings.
A video shot on December 26 shows him slicing through a honeycomb ignoring the bee stings. He is assisted by a friend who is also immune to the stings, but prefers to keep his head covered though exposing his face.
Sushil says he is happy with his way collecting honey as it does not harm the bees.
