The Kashmir Valley received its first snowfall of the year on Wednesday. most of the tourist places in Kashmir, including Gulmarg and Pahalgam, received the snowfall. Gulmarg received snowfall equivalent to 8.8 mm of rains till 8.30 am, while Kupwara recorded 7.4 mm precipitation.
