District Line 'S7' Surface Stock at East Putney 8th February 2014
An unexpected (and first) sighting of a new 'S7' stock District Line surface stock unit at East Putney on 8th February 2014. It is not known if this unit had been introduced for regular services, if it was being trialled or if its appearance was associated with engineering works affecting the Circle Line. These modern units will eventually replace all of the older surface stock including the C69, C77 and D78 units currently operating on the District Line.
