A 15-foot-long python weighing about 150 kg gave devotees worshiping at a temple in Tamil Nadu, located in India's south, a shock when it entered the sacred ground.

After making a report of the incident, fire service officials rushed to the temple and captured the snake. It was later handed over to forest personnel, who released the huge reptile back into the wild.

A 15 foot python weighing up to 150 kgs were caught by the fire service personal near  Palani temple. The dharsan began as another usual day in Palani Murugan temple in Dindugal District in Tamil Nadu devotees have come to worship lord Murugan as it's the auspicious month of the year. But an unexpected devotee entered the temple premises near the temples rope car area. The other devotees were completely shocked to see a 15 feet long python. And the devotees shouted seeking for help later the Fire service team that was in the service of the temple rushed immediately to the spot and the caught the huge snake that weighed about 150kgs.. The same was carried in the shoulders of the fire service men and brought down via rope car. Later it was handed over to the forest personal who then left the huge reptile in the  forest. Devotees and the public were scared to see the reptile devotee in the premises who later continued with their chores...
