Jet ski world record attempt in the Lake District
A cool video has emerged of a man challenging a speed world record on a jet ski in the Lake District, UK on Tuesday.
Alan Pickard piloted his 1200cc jet ski at a speed of 84.02mph on Coniston Water which, according to the filmer, pushed the world record up by 3mph.
An ex moto-cross rider, Alan Pickard broke both his legs, wrists, ankles, collarbones and most of his teeth before he tried jet skiing: 'It is moto-cross on water except you don't break 'owt when you come off,' he told the filmer.
