Just a bizarre clip from the USA of squirrel spinning madly from a garden bird feeder.

The amusing moment was captured on December 31 in Granby, Connecticut.

According to the homeowner, Jon Haefner, the squirrel was latched on and spinning for almost two minutes while trying to grab bird seed.

Concerned the rodent might "go forever" he went into the garden to try to free the creature but the squirrel fell off and "staggered the closest tree."

Filmed in Granby, CT on December 31, 2018 early in the afternoon, my 5-year old son was watching TV and noticed a squirrel on one of our squirrel-proof birdfeeders (Droll Yankee Flipper) and called my wife over. When my wife came to the window and began videoing with her cell phone. The squirrel was latched on and spinning while still trying to reach for birdseed. After recording close to 2-minutes she called me to the scene. Worried the squirrel would go forever, she had me go and shake it free but, when I approached the feeder, the squirrel fell off and staggered to the closest tree.
