Moment Yellow Vest protester James Goddard tells Met Police officer: 'I don't take orders from foreigners'

This was the moment yellow vest protester James Goddard was filmed arguing with two Metropolitan Police officers at a demonstration in Westminster last month.

In the video, filmed as MPs debated the UK's exit from the European Union on December 11, one officer says to Goddard: “I’m here to work and I’m here to pay taxes like everyone else so please get down.”

Another officer says: "I'm telling you to get down."

Goddard responds: “You’re not British, I don’t take orders from foreigners.”

Earlier this week, pro-Brexit supporters chanted "[Anna] Soubry is a Nazi" while the MP gave an interview outside Parliament.

She was then harassed by multiple people - some donning yellow vests - as she made her way to the chambers.

This led dozens of MPs to write to the Metropolitan Police Commissioner to express their concerns about the security situation outside Parliament.

Goddard has said that his online accounts with Facebook and Paypal have been deleted.

In a statement, Facebook said this was for violating the social media platform's policies on hate speech.

Goddard and other yellow vest protesters have been regularly seen around Westminster since early December.
