Alan Wolfard turned a simple snow day into an epic DIY task by making a huge Batman sculpture for his kids.

The dad from Bloomfield, New Mexico set about making the epic sculpture on January 5 after his town was covered in eight to 10 inches of snow in three days.

“Batman took about three hours to build and sculpt. My kids and an uncle helped bring buckets of snow and helped pack it,”

“We had to use ladders once we got it past five feet tall, and once it was piled high and packed, I sculpted it with a tile trowel,

“We had at least eight to 10 inches of snow in three days. The stream of traffic has been pretty consistent, and the speed of traffic has slowed down considerably as people stop to take pictures with it.” Alan told Newsflare.

“My daughter said ‘this is totally awesome’, and ‘dad you’re amazing!’ Her request is that the next one is Batgirl!” He continued.
