The truck was hit by the flood
Residents in the Bukit Lambung area of Padang City attempted to evacuate a stone transport truck trapped in the middle of the swift flow of the Batang Kuranji river (2/1) The truck was dragged by a current of up to 20 meters, after a sudden flood.
Truck driver, Edi survived after crossing the rope to the riverbank. But the truck is trapped. According to Edi, the flood came suddenly, which was preceded by a roar from upstream.
To evacuate the truck, residents deployed two similar trucks, trying to pull the truck out of the river with ropes.
