Teachers in Los Angeles block off the street as the Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD) teacher strike enters its third day on Wednesday.

"Once again, the entire community showed their support for the strike with waves and horn honking as they drove past the East LA strike rally!" said the filmer, a local teacher. "The street had to be closed!"

He added that a city bus was trapped within the rally and had to be escorted out by a police car.

LA Schools on the East side of the city marched to the local district headquarters (District E (East)). Once again, the entire community showed their support for the strike with waves and horn honking as they drove past the East LA strike rally! Shot by an LAUSD teacher as he protested with his school faculty.

So many East LA teachers showed up on DAY 3 of the teachers strike to protest at the Local District East headquarters, the street had to be closed! The community showed nothing but support as we marched from our school site to join the other area educators.

As East LA area teachers and educators rapidly gathered to protest at the LAUSD Local District Offices, a city bus was trapped within the rally and had to be escorted out with a LAPD square car.
