A Railway policeman saved the life of a passenger, who slipped from a moving train.

The elderly passenger, who has not been identified, tried to board ‘KSR Bengaluru Passenger’ train at Hosapete Railway Station on 20.01.2019.

A CCTV footage shows the train moving just as the man tries to get in.

He loses balance and is pulled down by the weight of his luggage. He falls down and is in danger of slipping into the gap between the platform and the train.

Shri Harsha, a constable who was on duty, was watching the elderly man anxiously.

As the man began to slip, Harisha rushed and pulled him to safety.

Indian Railways commended Harisha’s effort and said the elderly man was not injured in the incident.
