Soldiers does CPR demonstration on his pet dog
This is the adorable moment a loyal pet dog lied down on her back pretending to be unconscious – for a soldier to demonstrate CPR.
Sergeant Khun Kittisak brought his three-year-old female Aspin dog named Cream to work to be a manikin for the life-saving demonstration at Royal Thai Army School, Bangkok, Thailand on December 28.
Kittisak set his patient up in the proper position and simulated pumping her chest 30 times – even bending down and putting his lips close to hers to to show how mouth-to-mouth resuscitation should be performed.
Students looked on intently as they watched their boss and his loyal dog co-operating perfectly for the demonstration.
Kittisak is heard saying in the video ‘’move the patient on their back’’ at which point Cream rolls over with her paws in the air and legs splayed.
He then tells he soldiers to count to 30 while pumping the heart.
‘’Use your hands to pump in the middle of the chest, then given the patient mouth-to-mouth and repeat the pumping,'' he says.
Speaking after, Kittisak said that Cream was his best friend. He found her as a stray at the army school when was a baby and adopted her. He said that she was smart and loved to follow him around, so a CPR model would be a great job for her.
Kittisak added: ‘’She has been a demonstrator since I started teaching, so she is very experienced and knows what to do.
‘’Having Cream as my partner makes the CPR presentation less serious and students tend to remember the complicated procedures easier than using a training manikin.''
