Driving home from work on the M25 in the middle of one of the hottest summers on record, a lorry smashed into the side of a car only a few cars ahead of me. Luckily everyone was ok but the lorry had jack-knifed across three lanes and was spilling diesel everywhere and the car was in the 4th lane. So the whole motorway was closed. After about an hour and half, people started walking to the front of the traffic jam to see what was going on, pretty understandable.. but then this guy with his holiday suitcase decided he would try and walk past the police barrier whilst fire engines were cutting the driver from the car, to see if he could walk to Heathrow at the next junction. He was very promptly turned around and sent back to his car
