Visit to Tachileik, a Myanmar border town
A quick visit to Tachileik in Myanmar's Shan state, across from Thailand's Mae Sai. A statue of 16th century King Bayinnaung is located on the main road. Top of the town has a Shwedagon Pagoda with Buddhas, a fertility bell and vendors. A short race to the border on a Chinese motorbike taxi completes this short visit.
