A great-gran was thrilled when Ronnie O'Sullivan handed her his loser's medal live on TV after his clash with Judd Trump in the Master's final. Maureen Pomfret, 79, was speechless after the snooker star gave her his runner up medal following his 10-4 loss in the Masters final - as a birthday present. Ms Pomfret, who has seven great-grandchildren, has been obsessed with watching snooker on television all her life but never had the chance to watch it in person. So her eldest son Toni bought her, brother Ricky and nephew Lee tickets to the O’Sullivan/Trump showdown at Alexandra Palace, north London, on Sunday night. Ms Pomfret, from Tottenham, north London, was shocked when she arrived and her seat was directly behind the seven-time champion O’Sullivan.
