Stunning footage shows flock of choughs menaced by lone golden eagle
Hundreds of Alpine choughs are seen flocking in an impressive murmuration when a golden eagle appears and interrupts them.
The clip, filmed on January 16, shows the eagle gracefully flying through the flock distracting the videographer.
“I saw a large group of hundreds of alpine choughs fly together in search of warm rising air, and then a Golden Eagle joined the party... and an aeroplane too!” Said wildlife enthusiast, Olivier Staiger.
