Aerial footage shows Thai farmers burning crops in smog-ravaged Bangkok
Aerial footage captured from an airplane above Bangkok shows farmers burning their crops as authorities battle to contain deadly levels of smog.
A thick cloud of pollution has engulfed the city for the last two weeks leading to mass sicknesses and warnings from health experts about the deadly cocktail of pollutants.
Authorities have been spraying water into the air to try and increase moisture and disperse the smog.
The video was shot from the passenger seat of an Airbus A320 as it came into land at Bangkok's Don Mueang Airport.
