A remarkable video has emerged from India which shows a burst water pipeline firing huge jets of drinking water many feet into the air.

According to reports, the incident happened on January 20th in Taduru Mandal in the state of Telangana.

The pipeline was part of Mission Bhagiratha - a project which aims to provide safe drinking water to every home in the area.

There was no information available about how or when the pipe was fixed.

The water pipe line is from Telangana's Nagarkurnool district. As per the reports, it happened on January 20, when the Telangana's Mission Bhagiratha water pipeline exploded at Taduru Mandal in the district.

There are local TV reports available on YouTube that confirm that the purported video being circulated relates to the incident of the Telangana pipeline burst.

With the Mission Bhagiratha, the Telangana Rashtra Samiti (TRS) government aims to ensure drinking water to each and every household in the state by March 31, 2019. According to reports, the blown up pipeline cater water for rural areas while there is another pipeline for urban areas like Hyderabad.
