A property developer had a nasty surprise when he entered a home he'd bought in Los Angeles to find it had been owned by an extreme hoarder in this video from the Newsflare archive.

"Upon walking in with the demolition crews today, we were hit with such a foul odour," says the new owner, Rudy.

"Every inch of the house was covered in filth, clothing, dishes, and everything else you can imagine," he added.

"Apparently, the previous tenant was an old man with tons of cats," he said.

"Police were called just in case a deceased body was found. Luckily, no human remains were discovered on the property, " he said.

The video was captured on January 29, 2019 and recently went viral again.
