Oddly satisfying ball mechanism sends marbles in different directions
This video was made in my shop in 2018 while I was building a rolling ball sculpture. I was testing a small portion of a larger ball machine that I was building. This mechanism's purpose is to split one ball track into two tracks, and in doing so it sends the marbles off in opposite directions. It is a simple mechanical device that captivates people when they see it.
