This incredible footage shows a 20-strong pod of dolphins swimming gracefully underwater off the British coast. Julian Northway, 32, a captain in the merchant navy, spotted the pod as he was piloting his own boat, the MTS Terramare, back to dock. Being a self-confessed technophobe, Julian didn't use any special equipment to film the dolphins - instead, he taped a GoPro to the end of a hook and stuck it in the water. Julian, from Teignmouth, Devon, failed six times to get a good shot before capturing this video on his seventh go. He said: "It came out a lot better than I thought, it took a lot of shots to get that.
