A man in Manchester provided his own spin on how to manage the icy conditions on the roads, by donning skis and marching to work.

This man, who was spotted in Didsbury, Manchester circumvented the inevitable standstill traffic in the southern part of the city yesterday (January 30) around 8:00 am.

The filmer told Newsflare: "Whilst stuck at the bus stop in Didsbury due to the snowfall, we came across two skiers passing the blocked traffic down the road.

"There was a number of people at the bus stop who found it incredibly amusing to witness."
