Aer Lingus - Smock on airplane engine start up
18/01/2019 Aer Lingus flight EI0119 DUB - IAD on Boeing 757 operated by ASL airline - On start up smock was exhausting from the engine resulting in an aborted engine start. The engine ran smoothly on second start attempt. White smoke could be due to engine cold soaked for a prolonged period of time, oil stagnancy in low engine area, or even residual de icing/anti icing fluids.
