Drone footage shows Dursley town in Gloucestershire blanketed in snow
Dursley town councillor Tom Arnold, shot this stunning footage of the snow, using the zoom function of his drone.
Tom, 43 from Historic Market Town of Dursley in South Gloucestershire, braved the elements to film this beautifully shot piece at 7:30am.
Waking up to a thick covering of snow, Tom said “I woke up and saw the amazing scenery out of my bedroom window and couldn’t wait to take the drone up, whilst the town was quiet”.
Tom an IT Film tech in the Television industry, strictly follows the UK Drone code, especially after the london airports fiasco.
Tom said, “I wanted to get amazing footage, but after the stupid people flying in areas they shouldn’t, I am extra careful and use the NATS safe fly zone App to check whether it’s safe to fly in the area and safe areas to from”.
Tom, who’s recently finished working on the New Guy Richie Film “Toff Guys”, still can’t believe it’s midday and still snowing heavily.
