A 12-year-old boy in central China inserted 39 magnet buckyballs into his urethra and doctors removed them using a minimally invasive surgery in hospital.

In the bizarre video, shot in Wuhan City in central China’s Hubei Province on January 29, 39 magnet buckyballs can be seen stuck in the boy’s urethra in an X-ray picture.

According to reports, the boy named Xiao Rui felt curious and inserted the magnet balls into his urethra.

When the boy found he could not urinate afterwards, his family sent him to hospital for a check-up and found the 39 balls.

Eventually, doctors used minimally invasive surgery to remove all the magnet balls from the boy.

Now the boy is able to urinate and has already left hospital, reports said.
