Earthquake in the Coasts of Chiapas is felt in Guatemala City

During an earthquake that according to geological services, originated 37 kilometers west of Tapachula, Mexico, the effects were felt all the way to Guatemala City, causing movement in furniture and chandeliers in houses, and prompting evacuation in buildings. The seismological event had an intensity of 6.5 in the Richter Scale, and was felt all the way to El Salvador, and has caused some damage in the western city of Quetzaltenango, and some mudslides in roads in the southwestern city of Retalhuleu.
