Massive 300kg crocodile rescued from a farm in central India

A 12ft-long crocodile weighing 300kg entered into a farm in Mandsaur district of central Indian state of Madhya Pradesh.

As the waterbodies dry up in the area, the incidents of crocodiles sneaking into farms and homes of people has become commonplace. This is the fifth such discovery of a crocodile from a farm or someone's home in the district. The latest incident happened in Koylakheda village of Nagargarh. The local villagers informed the forest rangers about the crocodile following which they sent in a team and captured the beast.
