10 feet King cobra Rescued in Southern India.

10 feet long King Cobra that was roaming on the streets of Mettupayalam was caught and left in the jungle.. Kallar Hills a a place located near the forest of the Mettupayalam of Coimbatore district in Tamilnadu. Villagers of this village used to witness many reptiles and forest animals as guests very often in their village. But this time there came a posionous guest that is a 10 foot long King Cobra. It were seen roaming in the village by a couple of villagers and they immediately informed the forest department staffs. An expert team came to rescue the snake but their mission failed many times as they can't able to find the hide out of the snake. The hide and seek game continued for a couple of times. But today as per the information from the village s they found the snake in a thorny shrub near a tamarind tree. They rescue team caught the King Cobra and they took it to a deep jungle near Paraliyar area and left the cobra their. They forest officials said that it was nearly 10 and half feet long and it came into the village in search of a pair. These King Cobras will live in a particular temperature that is favourable for them and some snakes even fly from tree to tree. If these snakes bite a person they death is for sure. And hence the forest department officials cautioned the villagers not to hit or drive away the snake.
