Polluting red cabs in Thailand
Songtaews are diesel powered taxi vehicles in parts of Thailand. The country is experiencing serious air pollution problems, largely blamed on vehicle emissions. This video was filmed at Chiang Mai night bazaar, indicating excessive emissions from red cab songtaews. The air quality index for the past 48 hours has ranged between 47 and 155 for PM 2.5 particles and from 19 to 68 for PM 10 particles.
